Kasese Clashes: Defense Committee Sent to Kasese

Parliament has unanimously agreed to appoint more five additional members from the different sectoral committees to reinforce the Defense and Internal Affairs committee of Parliament in the fresh investigations into the clashes in Kasese.
Presiding over the Thursday parliamentary sitting, Speaker Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga also directed the Uganda Human Rights Commission to urgently conduct investigations in the district of Kasese where rights of people are reported to have been violated;
