East Africa Regional Economies Slow Down

Economic activities in the sub Saharan dampened to record low 3.5% in 2015, the lowest record over the last 15 years. According to a report by ACCORD, the regional growth is projected to diminish furthermore to 3%. The slump is attributed to both internal and domestic economic shocks such as the decline in the world commodity prices and a reduction in global fuel prices.
