Amama Mbabazi's 2016 Year in Review

He is the man most people thought would succeed president Museveni as head of state. His announcement to run for presidency in 2015 shook the country to the core with some party presidents abandoning their political parties and their quest for presidency to join Amama Mbabazi. But as the campaigns raced to climax he seemed left alone staggering, occasionally abandoning his campaign trail to take leave and dragging his feet to finish the race. Tonight we take stock of his campaign.
