Civil Societies Organisations Question Plans of Handling Oil Wastes

Uganda expects to start the production of oil in 2020. Whereas this is a much anticipated venture, environmental experts are concerned that not much has been done to ensure that the flora and fauna in the Albertine grabben are protected from Oil waste.
In our environmental focus tonight, we look at the measures put in place to manage oil waste in the grabben and what more needs to be done to ensure the environment is protected.
