Local Government Amendment Bill Passed

Parliament finally passes the local government amendment bill 2016, amidst protests from the opposition and a section of NRM MPs. Parliament has also proposed 15th February for the election of LC I officials, although the Electoral Commission can choose another date according to its own electoral plan.
