How Will National Dialogue Shape Uganda's Political Land Scape If Sucessful?
The major subject making headlines in Uganda’s political landscape this week is the talk of dialogue between the country’s top opposition heads and president Yoweri Museveni.
First, it was FDC’s Dr. Kiiza Besigye who announced at the start of the week that if terms were favorable, he would be happy to dialogue with president Museveni. A day later, there was talk that Museveni had held talks with his former premier, John Patrick Amama Mbabazi.
With these two being the main challengers to Museveni’s regime, the big question is, “How will the dialogue – if successful, shape the country’s political landscape?
