NGOs to Sue Over Local Council Polls

Non-Governmental Organizations under their umbrella body, NGO Forum want to sue Parliament and Electoral Commission if the right procedure of LC 1 elections is not followed. NGO Forum says standing behind candidates is no longer used internationally, and is also not recognized in the current Ugandan constitution.
