The Democratic Party, Uganda’s oldest active political grouping faces a tough time, the latest storm coming days after its national chairperson Mohammad Beswale Kezaala was appointed a deputy ambassador.
The appointment raised eyebrows and talk at various levels. Before the dust settled, Kezaala announced that he had resigned from DP leadership, at a news conference he convened on Monday evening.
