Mumbere in Court, Prisons Boss Snubs Court Again

The Commissioner General of Prisons, Dr. Johnson Byabashaijja has again failed to honour court summons over Kasese attacks suspects. The prisons boss instead sent his juniors to represent him; a move defense lawyers say is contempt of court.
Jinja Chief Magistrate, John Francis Kaggwa had summoned Byabashaijja to explain why he failed to transfer suspects who were old and sick to Luzira prisons, but has since failed to appear.
