Masaka High Court Halts Nullification of Cissy Namujju's MP Seat

The court of appeal has over turned a Masaka high court ruling that nullified the election of Cissy Namujju as the Lwengo district woman MP in the 10th Parliament.
A panel of three judges says the lower court judge faulted when she accepted a petition that was short of the prerequisite 500 signatures from other area voters supporting it.
