Securities Exchange Market Declines

The Uganda Security Exchange market has declined and performed lower than expected, due to economic setbacks that the country is going through.
According to Paul Bwiso, the Chief Executive Officer at Uganda Securities Exchange, a number of investors suffered shortfalls in their trade turnover and were reluctant to invest in shares.
Inability to access information also accounted for the shortfall and as such, the Uganda Security Exchange has established an online easy portal that it believes will help investors to easily access necessary information;
