A section of legislators led by the shadow defense Minister Gilbert Oulanya have blamed government for failing to update Ugandans on the current security situation in the country. Flanked by Lwemiyaga County Member of Parliament Theodore Ssekikubo and Kasese Municipality MP Robert Centenary, the legislators are demanding for an immediate resignation of Police chief Kale Kayihura. The MPs have now given government a three weeks ultimatum to release a report on the escalating killings in the country or else they institute a committee to investigate.
