No Complaints of Sim-card Deactivation Following UCC Directive

Uganda communication Commission directive to stopping issuance of sim-cards without the buyers presenting has stated to bite.
The Executive Director of Uganda Communications Commission, Godfrey Mutabazi yesterday directed the disconnection of all unregistered and pre-registered sim-cards on the market.
Many vendors turned away clients who failed to present their national identification card and passports.
