Agriculture Ministry Officials grilled over 12 Billion Shillings

Officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal husbandry this morning failed to explain circumstances under which sh12 billion was paid out as interest to companies due to accounting delays.
Appearing before Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee, the officials were also tasked to explain circumstances under which funds earmarked for development projects were diverted to political mobilization.
