EALA Debates Gender Equality Bill

The members of the East African Legislative Assembly today debated the Gender Equality and Development bill 2016.
Widows and widowers will have an automatic guardianship and custodianship of children and have a guaranteed ownership of the matrimonial home.
This is one of the clauses in the Gender Equality and Development bill 2016 which was debated today by the members of the East African Legislative Assembly in the Rwandan Capital Kigali.
