World Bank Resumes Funding to Uganda

The World Bank has resumed funding development projects in Uganda. The announcement was made this morning in Washington D.C the Capital of the United States during the ongoing World Bank Spring Meetings.
The global lending group had suspended aid to Uganda citing a host of issues including poor absorption. The lifting of the suspension followed months of lobbying by the government.
