Health Center Turns Away 'Dirty' Patients

In Nwoya district in northern Uganda, health services are exclusive to smart patients first, leaving the poor dirty patients cry in pain with no immediate attention. Some Victims of such segregation at the health centres have at times consequently lost lives and are now running to human rights groups to register their case. The affected areas are all government facilities in Anaka town council and its outskirts. But the health workers in district deny the accusation.
