Labour Day: Museveni Vows to Reduce Drinking Hours

Uganda has marked the international Labour Day under the theme “building the nation through good work ethics.
President Yoweri Museveni while presiding over the festivities in pallisa district vowed to institute laws to regulate drinking hours saying that the work attitude of Ugandans has grossly been affected by alcohol and betting which is having a negative attitude on the country’s economic development.
The president also vowed to crackdown on the security threats posed by Boda Boda riders noting that the NRM government has previously fought bigger security threats than this.
