Politicians Accused of Degrading Wetlands in Isingiro

Locals and leaders in Isingiro district are on logger heads over a 38Km Kagogo wetland that has been degraded by Politicians. According to the locals, politicians connive with the district natural resource department to degrade this wetland by creating farms and developing their projects.
River Rwizi has not been spared either apparently it is being diverted from its original pathway to their farms.
