Masaka Losing Income Due to Poor Roads

An increase in the Works budgetary allocation is no doubt expected to speed up road construction but also help execute the stalled projects. Unfortunately some road projects are appearing in the works budget for a third time. Nyendo-Bukakata road in Masaka, is one of the roads that has since 1996, been allocated funds in the National Budget for construction. But as our reporter sought to find out, the road has again been allocated funds in the 2017/2018 financial year budget.
