A Brewing Strike Among Public Prosecutors

Over 400 public prosecutors are set to strike over low pay, non-promotion and threatening work conditions that have left some of them dead.
The group under its umbrella body the Uganda association of prosecutors will be meeting on Friday to decide on the best appropriate legal type of industrial action to take in expression of their grievance.
Baxter Bakibinga the president of the association says this is their last resort after all their requests have fallen on deaf ears leaving them with mere empty promises from all the concerned authorities.
