East African Budgets 2017/2018

Three other governments in the East African Community have read their budgets today for the FY 2017/18. Like Uganda, the budget estimates in Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda have risen compared the figures in the year ending .
The budgets also show an inclination by governments to reduce dependency on foreign aid by widening the tax base. Isabella Tugume brings you the key highlights from these budgets in the following report.
