Farmers Left Out in the Budget, Government Pinned

Civil society budget advocacy groups, (CSBAG) have launched an attack on government over the 2017/2018 budget allocation accusing government of double standards.
The group is concerned about the low budgetary allocations to the Agricultural sector of 4% which falls far below the Maputo Declaration on Agriculture and Food Security of 10% which Uganda is a signatory.
The civil society group says miserable 3.8 per cent allocation next financial year is double standard.
