Go Slow on Curriculum Review, Former Minister Mpanga Warns Educationists

Uganda’s former Education Minister, Joyce Mpanga has spoken out on the proposal to have the Primary & secondary school curriculum revised saying it could be a grave mistake. According to the retired educationist the problem is not the current curriculum but rather its implementation which she says is highly theoretical and examination-based. In this report, Joyce Bagala speaks to Mpanga about the modern educational challenges and what Ugandan can do to address these.
