Government Urged To Invest In Tradables at DFCU Breakfast


The Private Sector Foundation, Uganda suggests that it is time for government to consider investing in tradables such as increased production of goods which will increase the country’s foreign earnings. This as opposed to concentrating a lot on non-tradables like infrastructure such as roads.
Gideon Badagawa, the executive director of the Private sector foundation says much as infrastructure is such an important component of the country’s economic growth, it does not mean that government should ignore tradables where taxes are got to finance so many sectors in the economy;
