Legal Minds Speak Out on Constitutional Provisions on Land
The current crisis in the land sector has largely is said to bea spillover of the 1995 Constitution whose provisions were abused by the land boards, according to city lawyer Peter Muliira.
Muliira says, government entrusted landboards with the management of land who have instead abused their mandate.
This he said during a stakeholders meeting organized by Advocates for Coalition on Development and Environment (ACODE) in Kampala.
