Pollution Hampering Jinja's Revival

The eastern town of Jinja is set on a path of revival to its former glory with many industries opening up to provide jobs and other opportunities. This has however come with the challenge of pollution – as industries emit smoke and dispose off untreated waste into the surrounding waters of Lake Victoria. As Joyce Bagala reports in tonight’s environmental focus, leaders are deadlocked on how to tackle the problem.
