Gov’t Starts Demarcating Soroti University Land

The Minister for Lands, Housing and Urban Development Betty Among this morning launched the re-opening of Soroti University boundaries following accuses of land grabbing by the institution’s surrounding community.
The conflict stems from a decision by the University leadership to evict residents from a contested 110 acre piece of land last month. The conflict has sucked in area politicians.
