Ministry of Health to Retrain All Lab Technicians

In a bid to boost laboratory technology in Uganda, the ministry of health has embarked on a retooling exercise for all persons enrolled as laboratory technicians to equip them with necessary skills to facilitate their work. The training will start in Kampala before rolling out to Arua and Gulu. As Zahara Namuli reports, emphasis will be put on Hepatatis B, HIV, Malaria and Typhoid.
