Parliamentary Committee to Investigate Royal Guards Recruitment in Kasese

The defense and Internal affairs committee of Parliament has been directed by the Speaker of Parliament to investigate the alleged forceful recruitment of Rwenzururu royal guards into the police force.
Members of Parliament from Kasese petitioned the speaker, following claims that the royal guards are being forced to join the Uganda police, without the consent of the kingdom officials.
