UPDF to Probe Somalia Attack

The Uganda people’s Defense forces says 12 soldiers serving under the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) died in an ambush conducted by Al-Shabaab – a designated terrorist organization.
UPDF spokesperson, Brig. Richard Karemire confirmed the deaths Monday morning saying the force is working with the relatives and other authorities to ensure that the bodies are brought back as soon as possible for burial.
