Museveni Summons Bukedi MPs over Eastern Land Disputes

President Yoweri Museveni has summoned legislators hailing from Bukedi under their umbrella body Bukedi Parliamentary group over the increasing tribal tension in Tororo district and the boundary conflict between Banyole and bagwere that has left scores dead and dozens injured
According to the Chairperson of the Bukedi Parliamentary group and State Minister for East African Affairs Julius Maganda, the meeting is also scheduled to discuss the stalement in the election of the Tororo district chairperson.
