30 Giraffes Relocated Relocated to South Bank by UWA

Uganda Wildlife Authority starts translocation of giraffes from northern bank of River Nile to the southern bank. Unlike other animals like elephants and cobs, giraffes cannot swim and cross the river because of their long legs. In Murchison Falls National Park, over 1,200 giraffes are in the northern bank of the Nile, way above it capacity.
