MPs on Natural Resource Committee React to High Power Tariff

As the country continues to invest in the energy sector with intent to increase power generation, members of Parliament on the natural resources committee want government to come up with a clear plan that will increase demand for this power. The legislators argue that the current high power tariffs and high power connection costs are a deterrent to access for the rural poor who are the targeted consumers.
