Environmentalists Call for Uganda’s Green Growth Policy

Uganda has started developing the Green Growth Development Strategy, meant to protect the environment even as the country grows economically.
Environmentalists’ are concerned that with the growth Uganda’s GDP the environment may take a hit. The Green Growth Development Strategy will describe how the country can promote the use of natural resources in a sustainable manner to achieve economic growth, and development, at the same time combating climate change.
