Africa Loses 136 Shillings Trillion in Tax Incentives per Year – Logan Wort of ATAF
African countries lose more than over 136 trillion shillings (the equivalent of 38.6 billion dollars) a year in tax incentives given to foreign investors.
This revelation was made by Logan Wort, the executive secretary of the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) at the 10th Uganda Revenue Authority Open Mind Forum. The meeting is aimed at developing a medium-term revenue strategy for Uganda. Fatiah Nassali attended the forum.
