Hoima Magistrate Under Investigations Over Cancelled Bunyoro Land Titles

Hoima magistrate Julia Acio is being reprimanded for incorrectly applying the law, acting against public interest and undermining the administration of justice. The Judiciary says her ruling that canceled all land titles issued by the district land boards in Bunyoro region, is subject to investigations. Judiciary deputy registrar Vincent Mugabo says her default Judgment won’t be implemented. Richard Olweny reports
