Police Foils DP K’ogikwatako Campaign Launch

Police in Kampala earlier today thwarted attempts by the opposition Democratic Party to launch its K’ogikwatako campaign that aims at rallying masses against opening up the age limit.
Party supporters led by Vice President Fred Mukasa engaged Police in running battles for close to three hours until Mbidde and other leaders were arrested, and whisked away. They were later remanded to Luzira prisons. Elijah Turyagumanawe has the details.
