Unsafe Abortion Eating Health Budget

While the incidence of abortion has greatly dropped in the past three years, more Ugandans continue to have unsafe abortions greatly contributing to the country’s maternal mortality.
Researchers and activists are calling for revision of Uganda’s policy and laws on abortion that have left many women with no option but procure an abortion through safe or unsafe procedures.
