URA, UIA Back the Sugar Bill

Uganda Revenue Authority and Uganda Investment Authority have backed legislators on the 2016 Sugar Policy which in part seeks to protect traditional sugar industries from out growers
While appearing before the Tourism, Trade and Industry committee at parliament, the two bodies said the bill if passed into law would promote the sugar industry
