Drivers Fight for Ownership on Park in Malaba

Transport today came to standstill at Malaba border following taxi drivers strike over contract tendering at Malaba Taxi Park. The drivers under their umbrella body, Mayungano, allege that Matoda Company which is currently running the contract is not part of the drivers’ association. The drivers now wants contract of Matoda withdrawn and given to their association, Mayungano.
