MPs Meet Signatures to Call House from Recess over Mubende Miners Eviction

A section of legislators from Mubende district have raised the required number of signatures from law makers to recall Parliament from recess to discuss the recent forceful eviction of 70,000 artisan miners from Mubende by UPDF officers. The legislators from led by Bukuya MP Dr. Michael Bukenya say they want Parliament to cause an investigation into the forceful eviction of the rightful owner of the land where 10 are suspected to have lost their lives.
