New Livestock Programme to Adopt to Drought

To avoid the recap of the incidence, The ministry of agriculture, fisheries and animal husbandry has designed a program through which herders will be equipped with knowledge to ensure sustainability of the country’s animal stocks during prolonged droughts. This follows a drought that wiped out many animals in 2016 and early 2017 across the country.
