Rukungiri Voters Warn Mps Over Age Debate

Controversial cleric Father Gaetano Batanyenda has blasted NRM legislators who yesterday endorsed a motion to amend Articl 102 (b) of the Constitution to open up the presidential age limit. Addressing the media from Kitaga Parish in Kabale district, Father Gaetano Batanyenda has labeled the legislators greedy and selfish hypocrites seeking President Yoweri Museveni’s attention in case the proposal succeeds. Relatedly, voters in Rukungiri have warned their legislators against endorsing the amendment of the constitution to remove the age cap.
