Sudhir wants Bank of Uganda Lawyers Struck Out of His Case

The suit in which Sudhir Ruparelia is accused of defrauding Crane Bank of 397 billion shillings has kicked off with hearing of an application seeking to have the BOU lawyers struck out of the matter. Sudhir’s lawyers led by Peter Kabatsi argue that it’s prejudicial for MMAKs and Af Mpanga advocates to appear on the bar in a case against Sudhir whose facts they were privy to since he was their client for over 12years. The lawyers also argue that following their relationship with Sudhir, the BOU lawyers are directly potential witnesses.
