Tales of Abused House Helps in Uganda

Ugandan domestic workers locally referred as house girls or maids have raised an alarm of gross sexual abuse, nonpayment of wages and other forms exploitation that often happens behind closed doors, while executing their duties. Some of the victims of abuse have run out to seek legal aid from civil society groups to peruse their abusers and push for stronger legislation.NBS’s Richard Olwenyi has been following track of these stories and now reports.
