The Uganda cancer institute is on spotlight as police standards unit swings in action to investigate an alleged lose of millions of shillings that has been paid to ghost workers and gross mismanagement. Following a police tip off from a Wessel blower and an insider, the institute is said to have an undisclosed number of ghost workers on government pay role who are benefiting from government privileges an evil believed to be costing government millions of shillings. A general inquiry file has already been filed at Wandegeya police station as the police standards unit lines up the executive director Uganda heart institute for interrogation.
