Technology is slow driving traditional special hire taxis out of business following the entry of uber into the market. These are now counting on luck, as customers prefer the cheap and the technology driven services that have saved them from endless bargaining. Special hire operators in the city are calling upon KCCA to intervene and save them from what they term as unfair competition.
