Rwenzururu Palace a Year After Kasese Clashes

One year after the attack on the Rwenzururu Kingdom that led to several deaths and arrest of over 130 people and the king himself, the once famous kingdom headquarters lays abandoned in Kasese under heavy police deployment. The palace is still cordoned off and treated as a crime scene. Our reporter Innocent Nabaasa was in the region and in this report tells us the current state of the palace as religious leaders question government’s method of restoring peace.
