Uganda Prisons over Stretched due to Prosecutors' Strike

The Justice Law and Order sector review meeting has resolved that suspects who have never entered plea and are still trapped in prison due to the prosecutor’s industrial action be released unconditionally. This as the population in the prisons doubles with fears that the numbers could triple if the status quo remains the same
